Boulder Community Health was looking to create a satellite medical suite that combined existing cardiology, general family medicine, and women’s health clinics in a single 11,000 SF outpatient suite. The three practices maintain clear identities and wayfinding, while gaining the advantage of efficiently sharing a lab, procedure rooms, ultrasound, EKG testing rooms, check-in/ check-out, and utility spaces. Centralized care coordinator workstations allow for touch-down team meetings and staff-to-staff consultations, while also maintaining a direct visual connection to patient rooms. Patients benefit from exam rooms on the perimeter of the building which provide bountiful natural light and views of the exterior environment.
