A single story group home for people with developmental delays and cognitive disabilities. This flagship SmartHome was Imagine!’s first of its kind, packaging leading technology for enabling residents with a myriad of green and sustainable products and systems. The home’s design achieved a HERS score of 28, placing it close to being a net-zero building, and landed in the final 3 for the Residential Architecture Category of the Colorado Sustainable Design Awards. The home was even featured on an episode of Renovation Nation. Eight bedrooms surround common living space, and the home included a basement area for two live-in staff. Large windows, clerestories, and solar tubes brought light into every room of the home, and the open plan welcomed wheelchair-enabled users.
