Ground-up construction of a new 2,800 SF pizzeria in the city of Black Hawk’s History Appreciation and Recreation Destination (HARD) District. The design features historic architectural elements through decorative paneling and scrollwork. It will fit seamlessly within Gregory Plaza and other surrounding buildings with similar design elements. The interior contains a bar, dining area, stage, and open views to the pizza oven for visitors to enjoy. The space is suited to host local musicians for live music whether it’s inside on the stage or outside on the event deck. The project also includes the design and construction of a new elevator which will provide accessibility to the plaza. It sits within an elegant glass enclosure with visual access to the mechanics of the elevator system and acting as a shining light to encourage visitors to explore and enjoy more of Black Hawk.
