Tenant remodel of a 35,950 SF two-story office and single-story warehouse space for a local wind turbine manufacturing company. The research and development warehouse space features 30-foot clear ceiling heights for production and assembly of wind turbines. Interior office renovation included private office spaces adjacent to open office area at the exterior walls, where new windows were cut into the precast concrete walls to improve natural light. New flexible meeting & conference spaces included operable partitions. A feature stair at the entry provides intuitive circulation, while improving connectivity between office spaces. The separation wall between the office and warehouse spaces was given special treatment to improve acoustics between the noisy R&D/assembly space and the quieter office area.
