Since our founding, PEH ARCHITECTS has been dedicated to delivering spaces that inspire, function beautifully, and reflect lasting value. We achieve this by uniting creative vision, technical expertise, and an unwavering attention to detail. Anything less would not meet our standard.

  • Founding Principal, AIA

    Peter E. Heinz

    Earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder. For over fifty years, PEH has led diverse projects focused on educational design, accessibility, municipal facilities, and adaptive reuse for Boulder’s evolving community.

    Christopher Mirto

    Received his Bachelor’s in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999. Since joining PEH in 1998, Chris has contributed to a wide range of projects, gaining experience in drafting, coordination, and project management.

    Justin Price

    Earned his Bachelor’s in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2002 and Master’s in Architecture from CU Denver in 2004. He has worked with several Colorado firms on multifamily, retail, and office projects across multiple states, focusing on construction documents, city submittals, and coordination.

    Erin Gambacorta

    Earned her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with a concentration in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005, and her Master’s in Architecture in 2006. Erin worked with a high-end residential firm in Charleston, SC, and is a Certified Passive House Designer (CPHD). As Senior Project Manager, her detailed, hands-on approach drives successful, energy-efficient projects

    Mari Blaser

    Developed her architectural and construction technology skills at Front Range Community College and studied architecture at Kent State University, including a semester abroad in Florence, Italy. Mari’s interests include historic preservation, sustainable design, and urban planning. At PEH, she applies her technical expertise and creativity to detailed documentation and presentation work.

    Nick Brown

    Graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture and plans to pursue a Master’s in Architecture. Nick has drafting experience with military contractors, including Boeing, and excels in AutoCAD, Revit, and Photoshop. At PEH, he brings organization and precision to construction documents for residential and commercial projects

    Michael Sims

    Received his Bachelor’s in Environmental Design with a focus on Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2023. Michael brings hands-on experience in residential construction, giving him a practical understanding of building processes. He is passionate about sustainability and committed to creating thoughtful, innovative designs that enhance both people’s lives and the environment

    Colleen Roche

    Received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Catholic University in Washington, D.C., in 2023. Colleen gained hands-on construction experience managing home repair projects in Appalachia and serving with Habitat for Humanity through AmeriCorps. At PEH, she applies her field knowledge and attention to detail to producing high-quality construction documents across diverse project types

    Alexandra Johnson

    Alexandra received her Bachelor's in Environmental Design with a focus in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder in May of 2025. During her time at university, she experienced a semester abroad in Dublin, Ireland at University College Dublin and obtained a Certificate of Lighting Design through CU Boulder's Program of Engineering. Alexandra is gaining valuable experience in the field through her role as an intern at PEH ARCHITECTS

    Maxine Inman

    Maxine is a rising senior studying Environmental Design with an emphasis on Architecture at the University of Colorado Boulder. She recently finished a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain where she was able to learn about Spanish architecture, and studied AI, parametric design, and Grasshopper. She plays a valuable role in her school's community, including being an active member of the Environmental Design Student Government.
