6,100 SF Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Suite for Boulder Community Health designed to allow therapists to provide medical services in a clinic specializing in therapies for children with physical, sensory, motor, language, and cognitive disorders or developmental delays. Special considerations and unique detailing of customized sound attenuation measures successfully solved the staff’s concern regarding patient sensitivities to sound and light that led to disruptions in therapies at the clinic’s prior location. Specialty spaces within the clinic included three large therapy gyms, private observation spaces with audio and visual connections to two separate treatment rooms, specialty equipment storage, aide and cleaning stations, and a variety of specialized treatment rooms. Each of the specialized treatment rooms and large therapy gym spaces were designed with a series of heavy-duty in-ceiling hook support systems that can be adapted for variations of therapy equipment and treatments.
